The Peep Show

When the term "Peep Show" is mentioned, dare I ask what comes to mind first? Before you become too uneasy about the focus of this blog entry, read on, because, during the spring, and particularly around Easter, "Peep Show" takes on an entirely different meaning.

I'm sure you are all familiar with the sugar-coated marshmallow treats known as "Peeps." Now, imagine using dozens (and dozens and dozens) of pink, blue, and yellow bunny "Peeps," purple, green, and yellow duckling "Peeps," and every possible combination of the novelties, to create bigger-than-life Disney characters, creatures of all kinds, sporting events, or book characters, and you have yourself a family-friendly "Peep Show!"

On a beautiful spring day, I ventured out to experience a "Peep Show with a different meaning" at a local cultural arts center. This event, which filled three large rooms, is held annually and benefits the cultural arts center, as visitors "buy" votes that, in turn, are attributed to their favorite displays. Meandering through the rooms of creations was lots of fun as I wondered what I'd see next.

The "Peep Show" was a perfect venue for photos! Enjoy this small sampling of the event.
