Meet the Photographer
Taking pictures has been a part of my life for many years, especially after my children were born. Thinking back over the years, I can safely say I saw all the important events in my children's lives through the lens of a camera, and now, I continue along that path with my grandchildren and other special people in my life. Anyone who knows me can attest to the fact that I take many, many photos. I admit, that's true, and I justify it by saying I want to make sure I get the best shot possible. My main goal in taking pictures is to capture memories, but along the way, I always find time to photograph interesting sights, beautiful scenery ,and some unexpected curiosities.

I find great pleasure in grabbing my camera and going out to take pictures. Sometimes, I have a specific "theme" in mind; other times I just drive until I find something worthy of a picture. Invariably, I come home with some interesting shots, many of which are shared on this site.

As digital photography has grabbed my interest, my camera acquisitions have steadily improved. Currently, my equipment includes a Canon Rebel EOS T1i, a Sigma DC 18-250 mm lens with image stabilization, and a Canon Speedlite 430EXII flash.
