The Unexpected

"Be sure to bring your camera," my friend suggested, when we made plans to eat lunch at the Paper Moon Diner in Baltimore, MD. Having never been there, I was curious and anxious to see what was so picture-worthy. Imagine my surprise when we approached the restaurant! Talk about the unexpected! The colorful, eclectic outside decorations, including a toilet made into a planter, an elephant on the roof, and other oddities, were just a sampling of the indoor decor. Never before have I eaten in a place with baby dolls (or just their heads) on the wall, a Barbie doll chandelier hanging from the ceiling, or a massive Pez dispenser collection crowded together on shelves and in a window. Our time at Paper Moon was enjoyable and certainly, unforgettable. I'm glad my friend suggested I bring my camera (Since then, I've decided that it's always a good idea to have a camera handy, because you never know when the "unexpected" will appear)!
